Possibly because for example when my girlfriend did something for me when i was friends, i thought it was one of the nicest things you know. I looked at her more then just an ordinary friend, i looked at her who was a little more special then the rest. It really depends on what you did for the guy and it also depends on the guy as well. Guys look at a lot of situations differently. For example, if one of my friends bought me a box of chocolates for valentines day, i wouldn't look at them as a girlfriend, but i would look at them with more respect because they went out of their way and did something they didn't have to just to make me happy. My relationship with that person would grow and become stronger because of that little thing they did for me. It's really the little things that make the biggest difference. Remember that.
