Yes forty years ago it was the diet of many British people after the war , my mum used to save up the dripping from the Sunday joint and give it to us children during the week , Fabulous !!

yes it is awsome, but only if it is made with the drippings from a roast, certainly won't be the same if you use any substitute

I used to love it when i was a child
It wouldn`t be the same now with all the chemicals in the animals
I wouldn`t want to try it now unless i knew the animal was brought up naturally

My Mum used to spread a thin layer of the fat onto bread then cover that with the brown meat jelly. Lovely!â¥

yep gorgeous....you can also have it on soft white bread with a little salt sprinkled on top Yummy. Try not to eat it too often though as it is bad for you really.

My mum used to love it, she would eat tripe and onions, muscles and she used to love to sit and rip the meat of an ham hock, it's no wonder she had high cholesterol and heart problems, bless her.
