Madden has nothing on me. I'm about to embark on my first flight in over 15 years. During the last flight, I had a stage 5 panic attack that nearly killed me. I'm talking hyperventalaion, trembling, blackouts, so bad they almost landed the plane prematurely.

Tonight those racing feelings are coming back and in a big way. I got sweat running down my forhead and my heart is beating at 165 bpm, literally. I can feel it pounding in my ears.

My doc prescribed my to take .25 mg Xanax tonight (11 hours prior to flight) and another .5 mg 2 hours before boarding. Will this really work? I got panic attacks worse then anyone, for real. He said this combination would totally relax me, but said if I still feel anxious, I could take .25mg. more, for a total of .75, plus .25 the night before. I'm desperate here. Not to mention I have a middle seat for a 7 hour flight. HELP

Xanax is great for your situation!! Yes do take it exactly as your Doc Prescribe. Dont forget to also take one 4 hourse into your flight. I also have that stage 5 sometimes. I know exaclt how you feel right now. Try Xanax it works!! Remeber that flying is safer than driving. GOd Bless!!
