Here are my opinions:
1. Instead of developing bad habits and then breaking them, do not develop bad habits in the first place.
2. Forgive people for their transgressions. And, remember their good deeds for a long time.
3. Put yourself in situations that give you a challenge.
4. What use is silver, if you cannot use it. Genius is useless unless you refine it through education (Thomas Edison said that "Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.")
5. Take your time when you are doing something important. Especially, if you do not want to do it.
6. No matter what you have done in life, there will always be opportunities to set things correct. Or, learn from your mistakes.
7. You should love your neighbor, but make sure you keep a healthy distance.
8. Hope is important. However, action is better.
I hope this helps (pun intended).

1. A bad habit is a very hard thing to stop doing, therefore it is easier to not start doing a bad habit than to stop doing one you've done for a very long time.

2. Something written in dust is easily wiped away, but something written in marble is permanent. You should try to erase or forget your injuries but learn beneficial things from them.

3. A hunger/need for information and/or knowledge is the best pickle/appetitizer to go out and gain that knowledge.

4. If you don't know how to use your intelligence and knowledge, it does you no good.

5. Rushing through something will cause you to make mistakes and/or miss out on important things.

6. Learn from your mistakes. Opportunity is always out there to gain wisdom and knowledge, you just have to look for it.

7. Be friendly with your neighbor but keep a safe distance between the two of you. Don't disclose all of your personal information to a neighbor. They mean be nice people but you never truly know someone.

8. You can't sit and wait / hope for things to happen, you have to make it happen or you will die without that knowledge.

1. If you prevent the habit before you start doing it, that is easier than having to break it once you start it.
2. If you have bad things happen to you, think of them, but let them fade away because they are not important. If great things happen to you, remember them, because they ARE important.
3. I have no idea! sorry.
4. If you are acheive something without having worked for it, it is basically useless.
5. Haste is like rushing through something, so if you are rushing to do something, it is not going to be your best because you didnt take your time.
6. Basically, you're never too old to learn a new trick.
7. Its wonderful to love your neighbor, but you dont have to be buddy-buddy all the time.
8. (In my opinion, this is pretty negative! but......) This means that if you are just living on a whim, like day to day, not worrying about tomorow, you are gonna die because you arent living with a purpose, just on hope.
Hope this helps!! Is this for a project or something?

1) habits are harder to break when you've had it for a long time - just easier to prevent if you haven't got it imprinted into the routine yet.

5) If you do things with haste generally not alot of thought goes into it, and you stuff up. hence the waste

7) always be open to friendships etc but there alot of different people make up the world and if you are too trusting you will get screwed over

just my humble opinion - probably not 100% with it :)

3. Pickles are usually used, or they were used back then, to wet the appetite. It made people who were not really hungry become hungry. It was probably because of their specific taste. Now what else could make you more hungrier than a pickle, how about hunger. If one is hungry then one cannot get any hungrier. Anyone can vouch for this, because everyone has been hungry at one time or another. So as the line says, hunger is the best pickle.

2) not sure..but i think it means something along the lines of injuries can fade or go away..but benifits are always there..because dust goes away and marble does not.

4) not sure on this one either..but maybe that you rarely find it

6) well i think this one is that you can always get wiser and theres no limit of how wise you can be.

7) this one means that you should be nice but watch your back too because you never know..your neighbor could be someone bad and not good..but you still got to give them a chance
