Marc Anthony in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar forms an extended example of anacoenosis in that phrase. 'the good a man does they bury with his bones but the evil he does lives forever'?

Shakespeare, in "Julius Caesar", had Mark Antony give Caesar's funeral oration. M.A. says:

"Friends, Romans, Countrymen; Lend me your ears.
I came to bury Caesar, not to praise him.
The evil that men do live after them;
the good is oft interr'd with their bones."

And so on. In this speech M.A. turns the Roman citizens against Brutus and the others who had assassinated Caesar.
