I was thinking of trying the auto trader but it's a classic car so i don't think thats the best way to go... any ideas?

This is a great classic car site and you can run your car ad until it sells for only $45 www.cars-on-line.com.

I have also had great sucess with www.craigslist.org. Those ads are free

Also try www.antiquecar.com also free ads.

find a guy how loves older dodge cars run an ad in your local news paper or put it in the front yard with a for sale sine in it

I second the ebay with reserve. you can raise or lower the reserve during the auction when you get a feel for the market.
