Not likely, as all forms of Hoodia currently on the market contain less than 1% actual hoodia. Now, if you are growing the cactus and eating it, then you may want to consult a doctor. Your doctor will also be able to tell you if it could exacerbate a health condition, cause heart problems, or interfere with other medications, especially if it is mixed with other non-FDA approved drugs/herbs. Good luck.
P.S. Good question. Many herbal supplements can augment or make birth control ineffective. They can do the same with many other medications, too, so always ask before starting ANY supplement.

Actually, it is well known that St. John's Wort decreases the effectiveness of birth control pills. With respect to hoodia, they will not make any conclusive statements however they issue the cautionary WARNING:
Pregnant women or people taking prescription drugs won't have any guarantee that hoodia won't cause harm or interact badly with other compounds.

Hoodia is a herbal supplement. It won't effect your birth control, But antibiotics will, so keep that in mind.
