It was in one of my books and I have no clue what it means. I got the other spanish words yet it did not help me to infer what this means. Thanks! :D

Esposa means wife - esposita is the diminutive, one could say, a term of endearment.

Handcuffs, as the ones used by police to restrain suspects, are also called 'esposas.'

Esposa means wife and with the ita at the end of it gives it more the meaning of my little wife...for example. A husband says to his wife....come here my little woman....ven pa' aca mi esposita.

It means wife in a kind and friendly way not a formal way.Esposa is wife and esposita is little wife.
