I also threw a bday party for my puppy back in oct. in reality the dog has no clue what is going on but he loved the presents and attention from everyone. We played with his new toys everyone brought and it ended up being more of a social thing for the "humans". have treats people can give him, toys they can play with him, fetch, display all his tricks...etc. i don't think your puppy will be too disappointed if he doesn't get to play pin the tail on the donkey...lol! have fun.

What a cute idea... I threw a party for by basset hounds for their first birthday last year and it was a lot of fun (sadly it ended up involving hmans and not the pups). This year I plan on making it more dog friendly. Here are some ideas I have come up with.
1. play doggie doggie who's got the bone...
Give a dog treat to a guest at your party. Have each guest sit down with their hands behind their backs. Let your dog try to find the treat. When he finds it, praise him and give him the treat.
2. Get a pinata. Instead of filling it with candy only... fill it with dog treats, dog toys, and maybe a few suprises for your two legged friends!
3. Don't forget to bring gifts. Have your guests wrap up a gift for you dog... you do the same... If he is anything like my basset hounds, he will tear write into his gifts... Just be sure to pick up the paper to avoid swallowing of any gift wrap...

at the starting up, SA16 isn't following the guidelines by insulting the asker. the following is what i imagine is awesome. GOODY luggage: i imagine the goody luggage (in case you'll provide any) must have a tremendous bone, deal with, a ball, a fetch stick, and for giant canines, a frisbee. video games: you should play a ball sport. What you do is you toss a ball, and whoever catches it, receives a deal with. Or, you may have between the vendors volenteer to play the keyboard, at the same time as the canines bark alongside to it. thrilling STUFF: you could take a gaggle of %. of the party, and make it right into a scrapbook. you could promote it for about $4 to $7. i love canines, and that i wish you loved the concepts!!!!
