Do you think they are pointless? Fun? Boring? Or just a plain who cares...
I believe they are pointless and there is no reason for them. Why not just be friends through high school. Some say that dating in high school is to get practice and to know what you like in a girl.
Well you don't have to be sexual or anything or just focus on one girl so much to do that. I don't know. Any thoughts?

i think relationships can be good to have. but i also think you should not just date One person the whole time and date around too.. because if you get stuck with one guy the whole time then once you get out of that relationship you won't know where to go from there or what to do. i think that long-term relationship stuff should be saved until college or after. because i hate it how some couples get together.. like for example this girl gets with this guy you Wish could some day be your boyfriend, or that could at least give you a try.. but you can't because they are boyfriend and girlfriend. so you might miss out on someone just because of that. but perhaps i just feel this way because i am 'that girl' on the outside not in the relationship haha. but still. i think being friends and just dating around is the best way to get to know what you like in the opposite gender. sure relationships in high school Are good to give you practice with relationships and stuff though, which i agree with. but i don't think they have to be all the years with the same person. yeah and Good first question! :)

Having relationships in high school is getting to know yourself. Being with someone during highschool isn't pointless. You might actually find your soul mate, who knows. Being in a relationship means taking the time caring about someone else not only yourself.
Highschool is always about exploration.

When I was in high school many many years ago I dated two girls. The girl I dated my junior year..it was sex 24/7. She was beautiful and hot.The girl I dated my Senior year wanted no part of having sex which I was cool with. In my old age the junior year is the one I think about most.

I think they are great my brother in law has been marryed to my sister for 20 years now.And I love him a lot like I should like a brother .

high school relationships are suppossed to be for you to love. some ppl end up marryin their high school sweethearts. they can be pointless some times because there can be soo much drama, but they are real relationships with real ppl

i'M A TEEN & I THINK THEY R VERY CONFUSING & AT THE SMAE TIME THEY CAN ALSO BE VERY NICE TO HAVE SOMEONE TO TALK TO AT ANY TIME ABOUT ANYTHING!!!
