I know people that have been like 4 yrs together and still going...through high school
do long term high school relationships last?
especially if you were best friends with that person BEFORE you started dating them?

Well I was in a relationship with a girl for 2 years of high school. We liked eachother all through middle school and were good friends. That didnt work out. On the other hand, I know a couple who is still going out and they dated all through high school. So its up to you and your boyfriend, do you want to make it last?

usually they might last a little bit into college..but usually they end. because they want something New to go along with their New independent life. not saying it doesn't happen that some stay together.. it's just more likely than not that it doesn't happen. you usually don't end up marrying anyone from high school.

my mom and dad were best friends in grade 8, got together in grade 9 and stayed together until they were 38. and had 4 kids together. the reason they broke up had nothing to do with feelings for eachother. it can happen.
