Hey Rixa. I just bought the BEST book EVER (to me atleast) last week at Walmart. It is $10 and it is called "3-hourDiet"........ You can read more about it by going to 3hourdiet.com. The website costs $5 a week - BUT don't pay or anything - just go there to read about what the diet is.
The book (like I said) was CHEAP and it is an EXCELLENT book. It is about BALANCING your nutrition bgy keeping your blood sugar balanced all the time by making sure you have nutrition in your system every three hours. TRUST me it is NOT as hard as it sounds. It's lil snacking stuff and regular food so there are NO restrictions.
ANYWAY - this author's diet book is SPECIFICALLY formatted for people who have no time to "Excersize" but DOES ask that you drink PLENTY of water with these balanced meal IDEAS (which are VERY basic and easy - no wild foods or raw veggies)
This is the FIRST diet that has EVER worked for me and I've been on a LOT. I am 26 and have always battled my weight.
Give it a try.......
Good Luck - Feel free to email me with more questions about it. I am always happy to pass along good info when I find it........
Ciao'
Meg -

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

You only have to do little things to lose weight. If you get a ride to school, start walking (or take the bus if your school is not within walking distance since taking the bus requires some walking). Eat sensibly and do not overeat. Drink water at least a couple of times a day. Do small exercises a few times a day. Basketball is a great exercise also.

Start bringing salads to school lunch. I, too, am 14 and I have started to bring a bag with some salad and some dressing in it, the case is disposable and also you can keep it if you don't finish it and eat it on the bus ride home. Try to eat fruits and vegetables, but also meats and bread. Do not try dieting, just eat healthy and try to exercise. I know it sounds cliche but try to take the stairs, if you are driven somewhere close try to walk. Also, don't worry about your weight, we're young and we should love it while we can.

Make sure you eat enough. If you don't you will mess with your metabolism and it will make it harder to loose weight. Just try eating healthy foods: fruits, vegetables, yogurt, whole grains. Avoid bad foods: candy, fast food, greasy food. For lunch at school, get hot lunch-since this is usually healthier or pack your own lunch. When you are at school avoid getting ala cart. Also, do little things like taking the stairs instead of the elevator and walking places instead of getting a ride.
