First of all, I don't think it is wrong to have so-called designer breeds like puggles. People like the look of the dog and that's how some standard breeds (like dobermans) were created in the first place.
Second, because they are a mix it's unclear how large they will get. But both beagles and pugs are small to medium sized dogs.
Third, I would assume they are inside dogs (like pugs), but they would probably like a yard like a beagle.
Fourth, I've been seeing some cute young puggles on petfinder.com. Obviously, they aren't a match for everyone so some people end up dumping them at a shelter. Search "pug" and you will get the pug and beagle mix, too.
Look and see! Adopt a shelter dog.

All dogs should be inside dogs as they are very social animals.
Size or anything else for that matter is hard to predict with mutts, which is exactly what a puggle is. An overpriced mutt.

Puggles need a lot of exercise. They are good inside dogs though as long as you make sure that you walk them at least once a day (and I do not mean a quick walk around the block). Puggles get between 10 and 15 inches high.

They are fricken' stupid designer dog breeds. They cost a fortune and they aren't even full bred. Try a pug or a beagle. Why a puggle? They get about the same size as a beagle and can be inside or outside dogs. Preferably inside.

They are a mix and they are basicly inside dogs. It is hard to tell how big they will get since some take from the Pug, some from the Beagle and some from both.
With this mix watch for heart problems, skin issues, structural deformities, overbites/underbites....

they are a little dog, so they are inside dogs, about 12-15 pounds, and also they like being outside a little, but not for long periods of time.

Since they're a mix of a pug and a beagle, they'll be somewhere between the size of a pug and the size of a beagle.
Since they're a mutt, you really can't narrow it down any more than that.
Since they're a mix of two short-coated, smaller breeds, they should be an indoor dog.
Check with your local Pug or Beagle rescue via Petfinder.com - there are tons of these little guys showing up in Rescue thanks to people who fall for the "designer breed" garbage.

You mean mixed breed? Yeah they are inside dogs, but really why do people keep thinking this is an actual breed?
