...we've been seeing eachother for 2 and a half weeks now and he wants to do it. i like him a lot but i dont want to rush things because of bad experiences in the past. so what do you think. if it is too early, how much more time do you think we should date before we do it.

I don't know if you're a virgin or not. But I'm saying this anyway.
This is how I feel about it ...
You should stay a virgin till you're married.
God intended it to be that way.
But many, MANY people abuse that.
And God looks down on those people.
You don't just give your virginity to just anybody.
It is the best present you can give your future husband.
It is you... it is all of you.
If you become pregnant, you can handle it better when you're married.
You'll have that person beside you who promised to always be by your side.
It won't be some random guy or some guy who you THOUGHT loved you.
Sex makes many things complicated in an unmarried relationship.
It takes two very mature people.
You do not want to get yourself lost in everything that comes with sex.
Most people nowadays tend to just BASE their relationship on sex.
I am a virgin. I have a boyfriend of a year that I am completely in love with. We talk about marriage and how I want to wait till our wedding day to have sex. He truly does love me... he respects me. That's when you KNOW you have a great guy. That's when you KNOW he's in love with you... when he has absolutely no problem in waiting. Actions speak louder than words...

Yes, I think it's to early. You two really need to get to know each other and 2 weeks just isn't long enough. I would think after about 2 or 3 months, that you would have a pretty good idea of the other persons feelings. Don't do anything unless your ready! Good luck!

Have sex when you're married, especially if you've had bad experiences in the past. Don't have sex with boys who don't offer you any meaningful commitment--in the form of an engagement ring.
PS Most guys will always want to have sex with you- it doesn't mean they care. It's when a guy is OK NOT having sex with you that you know he's there for you, not just to get laid.

Are you married? Then its too early. Maybe you don't think that way, but I hope that you will consider waiting for marriage, even if you have had sex before this guy. Wouldn't you feel fantastic to tell your husband that he was your one and only? email me if you want to talk about it more.

However long it takes you to feel comfortable.But if you need a time,I'd say wait til you guys have been seeing each other for about a month and a half,2months.That seems to be pretty safe.

well i say talk to him about how you really feel and tell him you want to get to know him more befor doing it or wait until you get marryed if that is what you want to do. i say wait until he gives you a ring.

don't do it. if you get pregnant or he has an std, you'll be screwed for life. Ideally you should wait til' you get married, but if not, really get to know him inside out before you do.

If it's worthit to you to wait than wait and if your worth to him he will wait. Take it slow just like you said. You sound like you have been hurt before.
