Try putting your pug down on his or her bed and begin to relax your dog at night before you go to sleep by petting your dog, until it begins to fall asleep. If it doesn't work at first try,try again and your pug will realize, party because you want your dog to,that the dog bed is the place to sleep,if it involves a good body rub...Tom Science 4

Try putting down an item of clothing that someone he likes has worn and not washed before hand. I did that for my pug but he always found me in the middle of the night...LOL

Maybe it doesn't smell good to him yet. Or, it may need to be washed so that it smells like the rest of your house. Also, you can reward him for looking at it (throw a treat on to the bed when you see him glance at it, then keep "paying" him for approaching it, and then standing on it, then laying on it) If you keep paying him to go to his bed, he will make the connection that "being on my bed is great!"

oh, we want a pug to go w/our 2 labs. how fun. well, let's see. You can put a fav. toy in the bed, a blankie & maybe every time he/she gets in there, give him/her a tiny treat & say, "Good doggie!" Lots of praise...that should work. :)
