H takes the place of profanity.
His last name was not Christ, 'the anointed one. It was Jesus of Nazareth or, probably Jesus Ben or bar Joseph.

no middle name people are just trying not to take the Lord's name in vain by adding the H so it isn't really Jesus' name.

i do no longer think of that they had center names back then. They have been in many circumstances extensive-unfold by their first call after which something like the place they have been from and/or their fathers first call or another id. Like: Jesus of Nazareth James the son of Zebedee Herod the great John the baptist (baptizer) Thomas--doubting Thomas. etc. etc..........

The H stands for HOLLY,(as SPIRIT), in those times, people didn't have a middle name. HE was khown as JESUS of NAZARETH.
