2) if u fall u can recover...if you say something hurtful it may never be fixed

2) If you say something hurtful, the impact can last forever
3) Don't be foolish...think before you do something
4) Preaching isn't as good of a teacher as living a good, kind life
5) one missing horseshoe nail caused the horse to lose his horseshoe. The injured horse can't carry a rider. The person can't use the horse. (This actually carries on to for the want of a rider the kingdom was lost)

Second set you posted:
1)Don't start a bad habit, it's hard to get rid of them
2) Don't dwell on the bad things people do for you, remember the good things forever
3) If you want something, work for it
(pickles used to be served as an appetizer, before a meal)
4)If you are smart without going to school, it is a waste
5) Doing things quickly makes the result sloppy and not the best
6)You can always learn
7) A boundary between neighbors helps you get along better
8) Don't just sit around waiting & hoping...get out there and take action
