Matthew 6.19 -21

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."

The Christian's life is a sacrificial life, despite the rhetoric of the abundant living proponents.

Yet it is ...

A Wonderful Burden

1. An acceptance in the Beloved which can never be questioned. (Eph. 1:6)
2. A bounty which can never be withdrawn. (I Cor. 3:21-23)
3. A deliverance which can never be excelled. (2 Cor. 1:10)
4. A grace which can never be limited. (2 Cor. 12:9)
5. A hope which can never be disappointed. (He. 6:18-19)
6. An inheritance which can never be lost. (I Pe. 1:3-5)
7. A joy which need never be diminished. (Jn. 15:11)
8. A kingdom which can never be overturned. (He. 12:28)
9. A nearness to God which can never be reversed. (Eph. 2:13)
10. A peace which can never be disturbed. (Jn. 14:27)
11. A righteousness which can never be tarnished. (2 Cor. 5:21)
12. A salvation which can never be cancelled. (He. 5:9)

Heaven or Earth is just another place by name, as long as one is happy, it doesn't matter where u lived. One can always renamed Earth as Heaven and Heaven as Earth, what difference does it made for a name, it's the content that counts.

Live in riches, as I don't believe in Heaven, and with all the money, I can have my own heaven on the earth.

Living in poverty and going to Heaven. The earthy life is so short compaired to eternity in Heaven, that I think my existance in Heaven is more important than what I have in regards to possessions on this earth.

Riches in Heaven. I think though that anybody that depends on the providence of God will always have what they need. Not neccessarily what they want but, what they need. It also has to do with what you do with what you have now. It is said that if you are not trustworthy being a steward over little, why would he make you a steward over a lot?

If we are assuming Heaven is a paradise where one exists for eternity and Hell is a place of darkness where one suffers for eternity, then the obvious answer would be Heaven. The reason (based on my assumption) should be obvious.

Hmm... tough question. 100 years or less of wealth here on earth, or eternity with riches in Heaven. Can I get back to you on that?
