I am a young adult and I am having weight issues right now. I need to lose some weight and I dont know how. I smoke and drink. I dont drink enough to gain weight. I have no idea what to do can you please help!?

Cut the carbs!! And the drinking. Drink water. Your body could probably use a break from the drinking ( and smoking ).

Find out your BMR (Basal metabolic rate) Do a search on Google for a BMR calculator. This is how many calories your body burns just to keep you alive.

Next add any activites that you usually do throughout the day. The total will be how many calories you burn in 1 day .
Finally, write down everything you eat tomorrow and add up the calories. This is how many calories you usually eat.
Look at the calories you burn and the calories you eat. Is there a calorie deficeit, or are you consuming more calories than you are burning?

If you want to lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks you need to have a calorie deficiet of 17, 500 per week. This means that you would have to eat 2500 calories less per day than you are eating now or eat 1250 less and burn 1250 off. This probably won't happen.

I just want to mention that it is recommended that one loses a maximum of 2 lbs per week. Also, the heavier you are the easier you'll lose the weight.

diet and excersi should work
i no peopl will say cut th drinking but you can't just stop like that, you need to replace it with another carfin like green tea. as for the smoking you need to try to reduce the amount you take a day start small, don't rush your self you can lose 10 pound in a month but i don't think two weeks is halthy. you will just gain it back in a bling of an eye.

Purchase a pedometer (about $5-$25 at Target or walmart or SportMart) and aim for about 10,000 steps. Do lots of walking, cardi ect. Eat lots of fruits & veggies, drink plenty of water, get a two week gym membership & try to go at least once a day if not everyother day, try to get up & MOVE during commercials and every oonce in a while! Reality Losing 1 to 2 LBS a week is real more than that is a fanitsy

go to the gym everyday, itleast for 5 hours!!
