I get these every few months...they only last for twenty minutes then I get a dull headache... If it lasts longer I would call a doctor

It sounds like it could be a migraine aura, which is bright lights or lines in your vision. These usually appear before a full blown migraine. Although sometimes you can have the aura without getting a severe migraine. See a doctor and have him check for migraines. Good luck!

Sounds like a Medical problem. You might want to see an Eye Doctor.

I had the same thing not too long ago. I was checked for meningitis, but was negative. I was very sick over Christmas and after the sore throat, cough, fever, etc went away, I started having the same symptoms you describe. Thought I was going crazy. But it went away after about 2 weeks. Could be viral??

The floaters may be blood from small rips in the retina.
Do not fool with your eyesight, see a doctor immediately, you may have a detaching retina.

Sounds like a couple of things..migrane or maybe a detached retina. If it's a migrane you will know it. The headache feels like the top of your head is going to explode.
