There is no one "healthiest" vegetable. You need a large variety to get the nutrients you need. Each has it's own set of strengths and weaknesses.

Of course, everyone will say there is no one "healthiest" anything. But following the rules is no fun. So I'll venture out and say broccoli is the healthiest vegetable.

Here's why: Chock-full of antioxidants, which fight free radicals, sort of rogue cells that may be related to cancer. It's high in fiber, again with the cancer-fighting theme. And when combined with brown rice, provides the most complete amino acid combo you can have without eating meat.

i like spinach and carrots. But darker vegetables have more nutrients, same with brightly colored vegetables. For example, choose dark lettuces like spinach over light green lettuce, which have virtually NO nutritious value.

There isn't one. No ONE thing is perfect. Thats why we eat a
variety of fruits and veggies. And we seek out different colors too.
No ONE color has everything we need. Has worked for me and even centenarian relatives.

onions and garlic...they help you with red blood cells so you won't get sick often...
