i am a foster kid and i have been since i was 2.. i have been in this foster home for about 2 years.. its my 21st one, anyways. my foster parents have always been great, up until now. my foster mom tells me she doesnt care about me cuz im not her real kid and my foster dad calls me fatty all the time. im 18 and i dont feel i deserve this. i have 1 yr left in the system, wut should i do?!?!

You as much as anyone deserve love and respect. You do not need to be dealing with the crap these people are dumping on you! You need to report them for what they are doing, their job as foster parents is to love, respect, nurture,and support you, from what you said they are doing none of these things, which means they are not doing their job. A job that they are paid to do by the government. If you were their boss, wouldent you sack them quick smart? these people need to be held accountable for their ingenuine actions. Look at it this way, when you go out to work one day, and pay taxes, would you appreciate your money going to these people?I dont, so report them, the system will never change if everyone keeps quiet!
I dont know how they can say they dont love you! I love you and i dont even know you! You are a young person of the world, and as an adult it is my job{i consider it a privillage} to give you love and support!
As for the weight issue, who cares if you have a little more to love? Calling you fatty is emotional abuse, and emotional abuse will leave you with more scars than physical abuse!These people were given the job, to love support and respect you ,not abuse you!
Please dont put up with it!
I put up with an emotionaly abusive situation once and i still suffer because of it,years later!
They should be teaching you what it is to live in a accepting,loving nurtureing enviroment!So that you know how to give that gift to others!
You are not unloveable. You are worthy. You do deserve better!
I can tell that you will be ok because of the tone of your letter,even though these people are abusing you you have not stooped to their level.
But please please please dont put up with it! not for any reason!
Remember that you are loved by many even if you dont know them personally!

Do your own thing and don't let your foster parents put you down. Just wait how ever long you have to finish the system and you have to listen to their crap anymore .

So very sorry, you have made it this far you can do it. I would tell your social worker what is happening. They have no right to be treating that way.

report them for the verbal abuse, they are getting money to have you there. Report them so they don't abuse others.
