Good question and nice poem...
It reminds me of a time when I was lost and confused and left feeling utterly alone in this world, asking how could there be a God with all of this killing, bloodshed, hypocrisy, ignorance, stupidity, indignity, and hatred?
Unfortunately it's no longer my place to ask. I can complain, but complaints never change anything for better or worse. They're only meaningless words with a kind of rhetory which does little more than leave me feeling better about my eloquence, as if I've somehow made a defiant and resonating stab against this God.
The fact is, ALL things follow laws in this world, and I mean ALL THINGS. From things as massive as the sun to things as minute as this 'random collection of cells', we all follow laws of nature, gravity, physics, etc.
We all are held together by some unseen force which seems to completely ignore and merely observe without bias our pleas for betterment or satisfaction. Humanity was given dominance over all of creation by its ability to understand evolve mentally as a blessing and a mercy.
All things are fallible in that all things eventually die. The universe got along long before we were born and will do fine long after we're gone. So you ask 'what's the point'? Why would some All-Powerful, All-Knowing Creator even consider listening to a tiny speck of a man/woman pleading with a kind of pathetic and pitiful request which seems impossible and, which most of the time, involves some form of instant gratification which will prove useless in the long run anyway?
That question can only be answered by faith and reason. And those are TRULY the ONLY things which are your own. Yes, even freedom can be taken away, but not your faith nor reason.
So, ultimately, in response to your question, I answer without intent of trying to sound wise or induce some form of respect from you or others for my simple yet reflecting answer... Only you can answer these questions, because you ALONE possess the faith AND reason required to better understand it.
In my faith and reason, I testify there is only one God in this world, the Most Gracious, and Most Merciful of all. God alone is the one who deserves any sort of veneration and worship.
Seek knowledge for knowledge is power; power is freedom; and freedom is peace...
So may peace be upon you... truly...

You are not random. You are unique. You have purpose. You have meaning. There is a God who set this all in motion and who has a plan to give you hope and a future. To deny that is to be eternally separated from God at the moment of death. You have a glimpse of God now in his creation, in the streams that you walk. God is not wanting any to perish but all to come into relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes on him shall not perish but have everlasting life. As you search for answers ponder this fact: There are millions of people who are putting their trust in a living God ! And ask yourself this question? If there is a chance that these people are right and there is a life after death and am I willing to take the chance that there is this God and if I choose not to accept Him that my eternity will be worse than my worst nghtmare. If you have just a little bit of belief that little morsel of faith can grow and lead you to a saving faith. I would suggest reading C.S. Lewis' "Mere Christianity". C.S. was an atheist before he came to believe in Jesus and this book chronicles his intellectual arguments and journey to enlightenment. God is calling you. It is your choice to respond! May you find peace comfort and hope as you seek answers!

Wakan Tanka - - - - - - - - The Creator
here's what may help you!!!!
Try this!!!
Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).
2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.
3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.
4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.
5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.
6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.
7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.
8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.
9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.
10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.
11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.
12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends
Wahoo!!!

I understand why some people do not accept God, it's because they have heard all the false stories of some selfish and judgmental God, I wouldn't believe in that God either, but I do
believe in the loving God of this cosmos.

..thanks for asking..that means you are interested to know..I'm a Cristian and have great faith in God,our Father...think about a clock..like a clock,we have to have a maker and a source of poweer in oreder to work..have you ever asked about how the universe works?it's so vast and with corners no one has reached..think,about who can create things like that..who can ever create life..there is always a supreme being, and all religions believe in a creator..He is only a single supreme being with different names..I really feel sorry for others who destoys the Christian image..they are not worthy to be called Christians, yes, but they are still loved by God..you are loved by God,the supreme being..

"The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.'" - Psalm 14:1.
"...if any man says, 'You fool,' he shall be in danger of Hellfire." - Matthew 5:22.
The Bible is quite clear: we atheists are not to be trifled with.
