Why are men so caught up on wanting the perfect body?? I'll admit iam full figured but still very attractive...yet most men will not ask me out because they want a thin woman.Why can't you see past the weight issue and see what a amazing woman i am? Only honest answers please!

Sorry to say, but attraction is attraction. That said, personality can and does supercede that, but we're talking about a largely biological phenomena, one that is often the first characteristic we come away with from a person. I know from having been overweight and also being on the short side. Girls I've really liked have passed on me because of my height! Not too much you can do for those who don't want to take the chance. Good luck though and always love yourself. That is the most important thing.

People are fixated on this because of the media telling them this is the only socially acceptable way a woman should look and I think that changes our chemistry to overlook those without the perfect phyique. Granted, there are guys out there that do prefer some meat on the bones, but even then they have to suffer with what their friends are going to say etc... and really, women are no better. Women traditionally still want the tall dark and handsome man and when a short fat bald one comes along it isn't going to make much difference how nice he is either.

honestly, i can only say that people (MEN) only see weight and figure while looking for girls because it is really for the rep. you see, there is nothing wrong with a guy liking a person who is overweight, and some guys see that, but it is because they get ideas from other guys who think the same inside, but do not like girls who are "ugly", or overweight, etc. because of the cycle.
if one guy thinks weight is beauty, then it will catch on...
pretty soon they all dont care what a girl looks like on the inside of them (the guys) but on the outside, they think what everyone else thinks everyone else thinks.
im having trouble understanding how to understand what i just said. LOL. if you get what im saying, then you know that it really doesnt matter your looks. all you need to do is BE YOURSELF, and be friendly and outgoing, and those good qualities that relationships SHOULD include.
YOU can start the trend. Make guys realize that weight and face doesnt matter.

Its not about perfection, but attractiveness. Some guys are attracted to full figured women, some like average sized women, some like women who look like 12 year old boys. It really doesn't matter how nice a person is, if there is no chemistry, then you don't really have much for a relationship to survive on.

i think it's just natural. they think what they think, and quite honestly, i don't think it's something to blame them about. not that this a good example (yet i feel the need to say it anyway) when you were little, you might have dreamed about getting married and all that nice stuff. were you thinking of an attractive looking man? of course! it's natural.
however, if a guy is a total jerk about it, then no need to fuss over him. many guys don't mind it, and it really shouldn't be THAT big of a deal. that's why i think when trying to start a relationship, i find it works better when you become friends first before anything more. this way they can learn your personality, and like you for more important things.

Every guy has a type that attracts them from thin to full figured. if the men that your are talking about have not seen past your outside, its propably a good thing. They are only looking for a superficial relationship.

Sugar? I don't know how old you are? But you're dealing with Kids! No matter how old they are? The're Kids. Once you can Date, older men? You'll see that (some) act, a little more respectful. Don't just be with somene, to not be alone.Think of your Heart. Listen to it. It can tell you when the time is right. And it will be. If you listen and wait!

a women with a lil weight is nice but once you start getting into the fat girls that takes a special guy...but trust me theres alot of them out there that like full figured women
