I am a handsome guy and i attend college but I have been having trouble trying to have relationships. Everytime I have tried to get serious with a girl they talk about how they still got feelings for they ex-boyfriend that they had for a few days in high school. Where am I messing up?

Listen hon, its not rocket science, you are not messing up, i think you are hearing "my x" and you are thinking oh boy and turning your hearing aide off. What this usually means is the girl needs a friend. If it was a male friend why would it be a different conversation that it would be if its a woman. Most of the time a woman just needs a good listener. This is 90% all it is, a woman wants to know if you are a good listener and if everything in life happens all at once are you going to be there to listen to her? If the answer is yes, just listen, comment as the conversation goes on, that will probably be the end of it. Women are worried that you will not be a good listener even if you only end up as friends you will still be friends. Take your time, get to know her a bit more. I think you hear "the x" and then get scared off, don't let this scare you off, if a woman can talk about that, they can talk a lot about other things that interest you and be a good listener to you as well. Best advice you could get right now is the same advice I got when I was in almost the same situation. Just relax and ignore it. Completely forget about trying to find a girlfriend right now. Go and hang out with your friends on the weekends. Just go and do whatever the hell you want to do. Once you do get a girlfriend theres a bunch of stuff that you wont be able to do. Party it up. Stop wasting time trying to find a girl.

I'm no expert on this stuff, but you should try knowing all you can about the girls that you want to date. I don't think that you are messing up with the girls because you are just being you and maybe the girls are not sure that they want to move on ok. I hoped that this helped a bit ok.

You're not messing up. They are. No guy wants to be compared to another guy. You'll find a girl that won't compare you to another man eventually. Good luck and keep trying. =)

Women like men who are mature, hot, and have time for a relationship. try to pick a girl who doesn't have feelings for anyone else, and who is very attracted to you.
