I'm really pale and this summer i want to be a little tan. What the best method to get a good "safe" tan? Any tips. And a real tan not a tan out of a can. And please dont warn me about the dangers of tanning... i already know all about it.

Ok well you want a good "safe" tan... but i think you know there is no such thing.

I'm pale and Neutrogena build-a-tan is good... but you want a real tan so i guess go sit outside and bake, lol what else do you want people to tell you?!

Well I have really good skin for tanning. So in the summer just maybe put a little bit of sunscreen on and go swimming everyday. I dont use sunscreen, I just naturally tan, I am just saying that for you so you wont burn just get darker. Where shorts, really short. Tank tops too. Dont forget to wear the little bit of sunscreen so you wont burn although you might anyway but whatever, its your body.

Go outside when it is sunny. You should tan easily. Or go to the beach, since a lot of your body is exposed and there is no shade anywhere.

You put on a lot of sunblock every 30 minutes when you're in the sun, and you just keep laying there until the sun soaks in! I got burned for it, but after it peeled, my skin was really tan and smoothe! =)

Believe it or not eating carrrots helps you tan, apparently the carotene helps your skin get a more color quicker.
