Actually we think about that backwards, we are all ghosts because this is the mirage world of manifested existence, while
the spirit world is where our real alter ego self abides. As we go
through this experience our real self monitors the results and with
those results we learn on the bigger plane.

Yes. I believe that everyone's spirit, before the resurrection, can be called a ghost. I also believe that when we die, we are locked up either in hell or in paradise and that, in general, they are forbidden to ever leave.
There is some indication in the bible that they might be allowed to leave, such as when Samuel was allowed to be called up by Saul, when the disciples thought Jesus was a ghost (when he was walking on the water and after His resurrection), in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man, he asks to come back from the dead as a ghost to warn them and he was denied, but it suggests that, under the right circumstances (in this case, if they had not heard the Old Testament), that maybe they would have let him.
However, talking to the dead is strickly forbidden. I believe that there are two main reasons for this. The primary reason is that demons can all too easily take advantage of this, they can quickly and easily take on the identity of whoever and string a person along in a series of lies and deceit, leading ultimately to death and destruction. (This is very much the same thing as conjuring up a demon, a big no-no!)
The second reason is because death is a place of rest, going from paradise to here might be like going from being very comfortable and cozy and being dropped naked into a 30 feet deep fluffy snow drift. Of course those in hell might think that is wonderful compared to where they are at, and they would use any excuse they could to get out, but for the most part, they do not deserve a break. I do not know how valid this second reason is, but it was the first thing Samuel mentioned and we see it hinted at in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man.
If an angel comes to you, you are supposed to test it to see if it is of God or not. If it is not, then you are supposed to have nothing to do with it. The test is whether or not they will confess the Jesus Christ (God the Son) is come in the flesh. An angel might be mistaken for a ghost, so I thought I would point that out.

Yes, even though I'm pretty skeptical. I mean, I guess I should say I'm "agnostic" about that subject. But I believe in them more than I don't, so I guess I will say yes.
The reason I believe is because I have this friend who goes on ghost hunts, and usually what she finds is that the people claiming to have a ghost in their house really have bad wiring, or something else wrong in the house causing the things to happen. And she is very skeptical, and 90% of the time, there is no evidence of ghosts. However, there are a few times when they find some interesting evidence, that seems to indicate there may be a ghost, or something like that.
Aside from this, it is part of my religious beliefs that there are ghosts. But I'm still a skeptic and so I'm not 100% sure.

Let me clarify first that the ghost that I will refer here is not the Holy Ghost.
As i recall it, there are two recorded instances in the Bible where the apostles thought that they saw a ghost. One was when they were at the Sea of Galilee and Jesus was approaching to them, and the other one is this which i am more interested because it is
Jesus that was talking here..
Luke 24:37 "But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit (or ghost)...See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones.."
This texts does not only confirm that there are ghosts but also efines what a ghost is, i.e., no flesh no bones.
However, does the Bible tells us that ghosts are from the 'good' side?
Ghosts stories are always connected with wizards, witchcrafts, vampires, etc. These are plainly stated from the Bible that are elements of the evil forces. From the verse alone above it says that 'they were terrified and affrighted'. Humans are always afraid and terrified of ghosts which gives us an idea that these are not from God. Because if its from Him, we must be happy to be with them. Unfortunately, we are not. Let's face it..even if we say that the ghosts are our 'love ones'.
It is only with these generation that ghosts, vampires, witches, and bitches are 'in' in the society. It can be attributed greatly to the media of our time (TV news, MTV, movies, cartoons, comics, radio dramas, etc.). The media wants us to believe that there are 'friendly' wizards (Harry Potter, LOTR), witches (Sabrina, etc), bitches (watch MTV), and ghosts (hello Casper!). It is one of Satan's way of diverting our time and attention.
Satan, as well as his dominions (fallen angels), has the power to transform in any form he wants. There are two things Satan can't do: give life, and read your mind. They can copy somebody's look. He can even copy God's look (the way humans perceived it).
Read First Samuel 28:3 & 31:1-7. Here is a record of a familiar setting for ghosts.."Samuel was dead..but 'Samuel' rose from the dead and talk to Saul..".
Study these verses and you will see that God disproves a living person talking to a 'dead' person, because it is the spirits that is talking and not the dead person. The Bible is plain about the nature of the dead persons. Ecclesiastes 9:5-7 says "the dead knows nothing, the memories of them are forgotten".
How will they answer your questions if they dont have any memories of the past? So, who is answering from your conversation with the 'ghosts'? Why does 'your uncle' knows your name and is calling you? Why does 'my grandma' knows where we live now since she died a decade ago? The answer? think of the one-third of angels deceived by Lucifer in heaven.
so, do i believe in ghosts? of course yes. but do we need to entertain or talk with them? as Christians..no.
hey, my nickname in english means 'ghost' or 'soul'! :)

Yes.
When I was young we lived in a house that the hall light would come on every night. After my father replaced the switch, fixture, and wiring thinking it was a short somewhere, the light would still come on every night. Later we found out that the owner before us was an old man that had turned on the hall light every night as he went to bed. Today the house is owned by a cousin of mine, and before that my aunt and uncle. The light still comes on every night. We have video tape, sound recording, still pictures, and have even watched as the switch is changed to the “on” position. Never have we seen anything else in the pictures, heard anything else and nothing else strange ever happens in the house.

Ghosts are people who must exist, since the Bible says not to talk to the dead. That must mean it might not be a good idea to mess with ghosts. I have met someone who claims to speak with the dead, and they usually have disturbed personalities according to him. So, the Bible is most likely advising against talking to the dead for a reason.
Okay...I'm looney!
