If you ever cared about the person you should tell them in person: Be honest & let them know how you feel & what made you come to this decision.

You don't want to end on bad terms but you need to move on to pursue your own happiness.

by not jumping into bed with another guy for starts!!

You been with him a while just sit him down say its not working....find out if he would like to remain friends but stress thats all its going to be this could go either way.........if he doesnt get all your things and his seperate so theres no reasons to keep stopping by(infact do this anyways) try to remain civil if you can..........this depends on the guy if its gonna be hard and also if some one else is involved or not or if you have kids together maybe take a few bits of advise on here but you know him the best do what you think is gonna cause the least amount of hurt cos you never know you might realise after this isnt what you want?the grass isnt always greener on the other side xx

good luck its gonna be hard either way xx

You have to be straight forward and truthful. If you aren't happy then tell your partner that you need to talk..Sit down and tell them how you feel. If it's a long term relationship then you probably owe it to this person to be honest about how you feel.

quickly.. don't drag it out. There is no good way to end a long term relationship, one or both of you are going to be hurt... so just make it quick.

Talk. If your the one who made the desicion try to explain as much as you can, probably not at the moment of breaking up but writting a letter or an email, if your dont have a clear mind at that moment try to not to talk alot we can hurt or get hurt when we are confused.

Take your significant other a nice place, like a park. Sit them down and just tell them things aren't working out and you would like to end things. Don't tell them you can be friends, because that will give them hope of you getting back with them, which can ruin future relationships...
Good luck hon!

Take him out for a decent lunch, sit down, and tell him that you have realized that you are not in the right place for a relationship right now. That's how I just dumped my ex at least!

im about to do the same, just tell him how you feel and what you want out of the relationship, if he tries to change what you dont like about him then give him a change but if he does not want do anything then you dont have a choice but to tel him how you feel about him and that you can no longer be with him

Openly and honest. Just tell 'em and keep it simple and short do not beat around the bush and drag it on longer than necessary.
