8 ounces x 4 = 32.

There are 32 ounces in a quart.
There are 2 pints in a quart
2 cups per quart.
3 teaspoons in a tablespoon
1 ounce in 6 teaspoons OR 2 tablespoons

An imperial gallon has 160 fluid ounces .A US gallon has 128 fluid ounces .A quart is a quarter of a gallon,so an Imperial quart is 40 fluid ounces and a US quart is 32 fluid ounces.
