Take him to play soccer, all Brazilians love soccer... make some kind of invitation attached to a small present. If you dont think soccer would work, think of another thing like iceskating, skiing, a play, or anything... use this as an advantage to get him on a date with you....it would be nice if you also threw in some chocolate... all guys love chocolate.

Can you give a better nationality as a gift? Probably not.
Brazil is famous for exporting soccer players, drugs, small bathing suits and Brazilians who don't want to live in Brazil anymore.

Does he like sports?
Does he have a favorite author?
Get him something personal... something you would know he liked because he is your friend...
He is probably sick of girls fawniung over his looks... he will apreciate being more than a hunk of meat and being a real person.
