What qualities/attributes define a man of class (whether married or not)?

The above answers are right on. I would also add: Broad shoulders (not in a physical sense) to help carry burdens for the less able... the elderly, the weak, his woman if she so desires.
A warm and friendly smile to all he meets, regardless of age, race or social status. A high sense of what's wrong and what's right, and the strength to do the latter.

The way they talk- no slang well spoken, the way they walk- straight and proud and happy with life rather than slouched soppy and picking his nose oh theres no harm of coarse pickin it . The way they act- life is a breeze their attitude is positive a little bit proud. What items you posess- a decent car kept well, clothes you wear being stylish and neat as well as the hair, short nails and clean. Tidy house with folded clothes and a crisp clean smell. Speaking highly rather than rough around the edges bragging and snorting. A smile on your lips. The list goes on a bit. Oh and very well mannered!

Doesn't swear, is polite and can take a joke. Knows enough to offer to pay but doesn't insist. Won't talk of money or cars or expensive vacations. Won't wear jewelery. Clean clothes...
