my friend is pressuring me to ask my crush out on IM. Either way, I know i'm gonna get hurt...please help!

I don't think you should let yourself be pressured into anything. You need to tell your friend in no uncertain terms that you do not want him ot interfere. I'm sure you're capable of asking someone out yourself and don't need someone to do it for you. You might have to be quite firm with your mate because friends generally want to see friends happy and will tend to do whatever they think necessary to make it happen. Oh, and asking someone out on IM is not the way to go. Do it face to face if you're going to do it, and be confident when you do. Even if they say no, smile and say "okay, that's alright". You can cry in your room later but if you appear to take a no easily, the other person will wonder why and might change their mind about you.

If you think ur going to get hurt, than I advise keep ur heart protected. If you feel you should, then do it. That person may actually be waiting for you to ask them out. But, if you are playing this like a competition between you and ur friend 3 people are going to get hurt.

OK that isn't a good friend if the person is putting you in a position that you don't like and the only way someone knows that you like this person is by telling this person how you feel and maybe this person will feel the same

well obviously this isnt a very good friend if their forcing you to do something you dont want to & also if you dont want to ask your crush out then dont unless this "friend" has a gun to your head dont bother. & if you really dont want your friend to tell your crush you like him then you should either tell your friend thats not cool or tell your crush your self he may like you & even if he doesnt just remeber to ask him in a way that wont embaress you & remember if he does reject you (not that he will) its just one guy hes not worth it no guy is worth the effort pain or tears unless you love him k?

First tell that friend you need to stop give me time and space to handle this.Also go for it if the guy doesn't want you trust me others will come to you.

you will know when the time is right do it then, don't let a third party start meddling now otherwise it will continue and just complicate things further , that is what you want? a relationship with him/her? and no one else.

i suggest you ask him before your friend does. if you dont ask him out youll probly regret when you see your crush with someone else. so go for it.
