Dunno why you would do that. The Advil would be good enough since it takes care of headaches like Tylenol does.

If you have a cold, take Alka Seltzer or TheraFlu instead of acetaminophen. There's no reason to be mixing Tylenol with Advil. If you don't have any Alka Seltzer or TheraFlu, just go make yourself some green tea and take that with the Advil instead.

AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT (jeez you should probably just go to the pharmacy by this point) have some salsa or chili or hot peppers or other spicy foods THEN take the Advil. If you do it the other way around then the advil will dissolve too quickly and your headache won't stay away.

Contact your friendly, local Walmart pharmacy and ask!! (That's what I do, if I have a question. And, they are VERY knowledgeable.) They're open until 9 p.m. weeknights. You can find the number in your local white pages (in the Business section), by looking it up online or by calling 1-800-FREE-411.

PLEASE call first, just in case.

They are both for pain...but why would you take them together?
I would not consider that safe. If I had to take them in same day...it would be a few hours apart. And not on empty tummy.
