Maybe I am missing something but... Thomas Cromwell was Henry VIII's chief minister. I see nothing about him being really active against other religions. Unless you mean you wish that all Muslims had the ability to get legally divorced, because that's something Cromwell was known for helping to get approved.
I suspect you meant Oliver Cromwell, a known hardas$.

I am sick and tired of politicians using religion to justify their wars! I am equally sick of the so-called Christian politicians and media figures justifying the attack on Iraq, and threating to attack Iran. (What the hell is a "preemptive strike"? Who has hundreds of military bases all around the world and harassing everyone? Who has thousands of nuclear warheads? Who wages war on myths & fairy tales?
