Yes. I was married there 3yrs ago at the Flamingo and it was legal. You do have to go to the Court House, stand in line, fill out the application, to receive the license to get married. But, that is not bad. It is kind of fun to see the odd people in line with you. Just make sure that the minister is legal. Good Luck!

yes they definately are! I was actually married in Vegas, 12 years ago, it was lovely. Lovely ceremony, had family there, great honeymoon, HAPPILY married 12 years, 2 children. All is great & it happened in Vegas! Still go back for visits & reminisce! Many people get married there. Just like anywhere else. Some marriages last & some don't--just like in churches, or backyard weddings. but for your q.--it is legal!

As long as you have a license from that State AND the ceremony was performed by someone who is allowed to by State Law. In Florida, even a Notary Public can perform a wedding ceremony.

Of course. You don't have to wait to get a marriage liscence there which is why people run off to vegas to get married.
You can go to Arkansas to do the same thing. But who really wants to go to Arkansas?

Ours was. Had to go to court in my home state though to get my name changed. That was the only draw back.
