Archeologists claim to have found the bodies of the “Holy Family” (Jesus, Mary & Joseph). The grave has the names of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph ... but even with DNA evidence, how would you prove that these bodies are from God …

How could anyone prove this is the bodies of the Holy Family?

Matthew and Luke have the genealogy of Jesus, one from Mary's side and the other from Joseph's side, respectively. Take the DNA samples from the supposed grave. Then get a DNA sample from one of many people named in the genealogies and see how they match up. It would be a lot of work to find the grave of someone in the genealogy. I definately believe it would be possible. I would do it to get my doctorate =).

In truth, I don't know what the point would be. I already know every body is created by God and everytime DNA is looked at, even plant DNA, that is the DNA of God because God made that DNA.

DNA is a coding of A-T (arginine-thymine), T-A (thymine-arginine), C-G (cytosine-guanine) and G-C (guanine-cytosine). Coding for a single protein can fill an encyclopedia. One mis-copy and the protein won't come out as intended, that's where mutations come in.

Anyways, back to the question...Jesus resurrected so you won't find His body. To stop His followers, all people had to do was show His dead body. The Apostles clearly changed after they saw Him resurrected. Before they were scared, doubting, and easily shaken. After they saw Jesus resurrected they were bold, spread the Gospel, went to prison for declaring the Gospel, were beaten, and even took it to the point of death!

You want to know who Jesus' family is? Jesus said it Himself in Mark 3:32-35

--A crowd was sitting around Him, and they told Him, "Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you."

--"Who are my mother and my brothers?" He asked.

--Then He looked at those seated in a circle around Him and said, "Here are My mother and My brothers! Whoever does God's will is My brother and sister and mother."

The most important thing is that 2 Corinthians 5:17 happen to us because of John 3:3!

The sole idea of God having DNA would be considered ridiculous by most of the people. Still, let's presume that He had...

The answer is simple, NO. The scientific community doesn't have any samples to compare with or to do a paternity test if that is what you mean..

Now onto next thing, there is no grave of the "Holy Family". Jesus was buried alone and resurrected leaving no body behind so (if anything) only 2 names should be on that "holy grave"

You can not have DNA evidence of God- he's never even been on Earth though he created it! That's why he sent his only son Jesus on the cross to die for our sins. And whether people believe that Jesus was our savior or not there is proof and real evidence that there was a man named Jesus and he did die on the cross about 2000 some years ago. God has NO DNA, he is everywhere- that's what makes Satan more weak- Satan can only be in one place at a time while God is everywhere with everyone!

Let's face it. Assuming the whole thing isn't a hoax, even if they found letters with the bones that said: "I, Jesus, leader of twelve apostles whose names were (he names them), and whose mother was Mary, and who brought back Lazarus from the dead, do hereby leave my last will and testament ...etc." ..the dogmatists would STILL refuse to believe it. Even if the Mary person had complementary papers explaining how she told Joseph the kid was God's! Faith is impermeable to reason - even though it can create great sensitivity in believers.

So in a way, I really do hope it's a hoax. It's embarrassing to see intelligent people perform these soft-shoe routines.

That is an interesting question, one that is very hard to answer. I think that is amazing that we have actually found those graves. Now what is next? What will happen in the world, do you think God will do something drastic now? Very cool stuff we have going on here. All we can do is sit back and watch everything unfold, suck as DNA tests, etc, etc. Keep tabs on it as much as you can. We are witnessing history here. Keep faith in the Lord as well, if you are Christian. :)

They already have. The report was released a few years ago and the genetic makeup is astounding. Scientists are currently trying to re-create God in a lab in San Fransisco but the technology we have today is too primitive to clone something that complex. It is projected that we will have a clone within the next 20 years. Its pretty exciting stuff.

To absolutely prove it would be tough. The names matching so well means that there is a 600 to 1 probability that it is the right family. That would be accepted as proof if it didn't conflict with peoples preconceived ideas.

No, they don't have any DNA of Jesus to run any tests so they can't prove anything.

God is supernatural. Consequently he is not made up of DNA. Only natural beings possess DNA.

I dunt think so. Adam came from the Earth, and Eve came from a rib of Adams.
