Try eating fruits and vegetables as it will give a craving for good food instead of bad food.

I also crave these delicious things so know how you feel. And no amount of eating fruit or veg makes a difference, in fact I find it makes it worse. What I can think of to suggest is to make your carbs wholemeal and wholegrain, therefore increasing the complexity of the carbohydrate and making your body do more work to digest it. I find wholegrain bread much more filling than just plain wholemeal, and definately more than white bread. The same goes for wholemeal pasta and rice.
Also increasing your protein intake can help curb cravings as it helps keep you full for longer and leaves you more satisfied. Things like lean meat, eggs, hommous, and low fat dairy snacks are good options.
I reckon still include small amounts of junk in yoru diet as cutting it out completely just tends to make the cravings work. Just try smaller or more healthier options. Good luck!

Well, when you go to the fridge you obviously want to get junk food or leftover pizza or pasta from applebees but instead try finding the worst pic you have of you. The one where you look really fat and just disgusting.(not saying you do or are) then find a pic of you where you were the skinniest you've ever been or a pic of someone who looks your weight goal. Then when you go to get something to eat and you want chips or puddin or whatever look at that bad pic of you and ask your self is that what you want to look like? Probably not. So then look at the good one and know if you pick carrots or salad or something know your one step closer to your goal. ... .... .... .... And you can just not buy junk food. That will be easier.

Combine pasta (high quality semolina) with veggies and make pasta primavera, or make sure you eat a little bit of spaghetti with a LOT of red tomato sauce.
Do you like pizza? It is the most nutritious and least harmful of the so-called 'junk foods' so choose pizza instead of burgers and fries so you can feel less guilty. Tired of pizza? Pass on the junk food!
Skip the soft drinks altogether, and go for water or smoothies made with nonfat yogurt. Robeks makes great smoothies! You can also buy a bunch of apples or bananas, and get one whenever you feel hungry. Especially apples!

Try drinking fluids throughout the day instead. Drink, water, juices, milk, etc..and sometimes if you really feel like eating food, have some crackers and fruits! It's not only tasty but hopefully it will also keep you away from all that junk food and pasta cravings. (Also, by drinking fluids your face will probably look cleaner and stuff.)
Take Care!

Sometimes you just have to deal with cravings until they pass. One that that might help is finding substitutes for some of these things that you are craving. (You can buy whole wheat pastas.) If you are dieting, one thing that I would suggest is treating yourself once a week to one of those "bad carb" dishes. If you do that, you'll be more likely to stay on the diet (or lifestyle change if you will).

For me the longer I can go not eating it cold turkey, the better. Once I don't eat something for long enough I no longer crave it. I'm a bread/french fry lover so its soooo hard to abstain, but I try to find really sweet substitutes like strawberries and pineapples to fill the void. Also, nuts are an excellent snack thats filling and healthy.

by drinking more water, and eating smaller portions of the bad stuff. start using whole grains when you cook pasta and look up some healthier alternatives to your favorite foods.
something i do is wait out a lot of my cravings, like if I want doritos then i'll wait 10 minutes and see if i still want them and then serve myself a serving if i do. usually i try to keep myself busy in that time and i'll forget about the doritos.
it's worth a shot.

Actually a great way to eat great food and have low-carbs are Atkins diets. A great website is www.lowcarbeating.com. It can give you recipes and you can actually get in a low-carb chat room and ask question. Most people in the chat room are people who have tried the diet. It works great and you get to continue to enjoy wonderful food. Try it

By reprogramming your mind. It's going to take a few weeks, but just by telling yourself over and over every day for 21 days, you'll begin to convince the subconscious mind that it wants what's healthy. It's called replacing a bad habit with a good habit. Here's more:
Here’s all you need to lose weight and get healthy. First, you have to realize there is no quick, long lasting weight loss plan or pill that is going to do the trick. It’s purely mental. You have to learn to “Eat to live, don’t live to eat”. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? It is, if you understand that you are going to be reprogramming how you think about eating for the next few weeks. Old habits die hard, right? Not really. You get rid of bad habits by replacing them with good habits. If you learn to count your calories, keep calorie intake lower than output, exercise moderately, and eat only healthy food, you will lose weight. That’s a fact. All it takes is repetition. All success stories have this in common: The successful folks among us know how to be patient, persistent, and consistent. Set a goal and stick with it. The benefits of feeling good will outweigh any sense of sacrifice you might feel about having to push away that cake and ice cream.
