There is no God. There's nothing there to love, and the character in the stories is quite nasty.

Yes, because He first loved me.
I don't trust in my love for God either but in His love for us. This love is manifested in Christ dieing for our sins and resurrecting for our justification.
This is no "Feel good" religion. This is a Belief that God's word is true and that the Resurrection is true. Not some "because I have butterfly's or some experience or some personal Revelation" but because God is faithful to His promises and He said whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
If Jesus is not raised, we are the most miserable of people.

Yes, I love God. Why? because He first loved me!
1Jo 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
God does so much for us, He takes care of us, He gave us life, He is even in love with us and offered us life eternal in joy with Him.
What is there not to love about God? He is Good, Just, Righteous, Perfect, Love, Truth, Life, All-Powerful, All-Knowing, All-Present, and very mindful of us. He proposes to us, gently, carefully, and shows us the Way of His Salvation.
With His left hand, He holds the back of our heads, with this right hand He holds us -- that is pretty close. He can reach our souls through the thickest, highest, darkest walls that can hold us. He is our Warrior, our Defender, our God. He stands for Truth and everyday in Him we can discover more and more wonderful things that He brings to us.
If something is beautiful, if something is wonderful or precious, if something is great or gives us delight, are not these things His gifts to us? All good things, all good gifts are from God, He knows everything, if these things come to us, they are from Him.
Who is like God in Majesty and deserving of Honor as Our Lord? Only He is worthy of all blessings and powers. There is no darkness in Him, no fault or imperfection can be found at all.
I do not care if it is dark and stormy outside, if the world is crashing in on me, it is a beautiful day because God has me, He holds me now.

I love God so much because He loved me so much that He gave his only begotten son the death that I deserved. But because of Jesus dying on the Cross and being buried and how He rose again I can have eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ as my personal Lord & Savior. With that I will be spending an eternity with Jesus Christ in heaven. That is all that must be done for someone to spend an eternity in heaven which is to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord & Savior. You will become born again by the Holy Spirit of God. You accept the finish work of Jesus Christ when He died on the Cross, He was buried, and He rose again.

I love God because He alone is Just, Righteous and Good. I also love Him because of letting me know my daughter Sandra who died - she was like an Angel. I love Him because He rescues me from all my troubles no matter how many times I seem to get into them. I love Him because of my girlfriend Gail and because of my friends Ken, Steve, Ron, Barbara, George, Judy, Joel, Debbie and others. I love Him because of all the talent and intelligence He has bestowed on me. I love Him because he saved me when I was in the gutter. I love Him because He has allowed the existence of such artists as Monet and Debussy (who had the freedom to mimic His creativity), and let me to have the opportunity to live in such a culture that I was able to discover them. I could go on and on.

Yes because he sent his son to die for us and God loves us no matter what and always does things that are best for us. The list could go on.

Yes, I love God. Why? Because I can trust him. With anything. No one else in the whole world is like that. He cares about me, and I learn to trust him even more than before.
My pastor used to put it this way, Yesterdays faith wont get you through today.
It's all so simple and it is so misunderstood by so many.

I love Wakan Tanka ---- The Creator!!!!
This is Why!!!!
Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).
2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.
3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.
4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.
5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.
6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.
7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.
8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.
9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.
10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.
11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.
12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends
Wahoo!!!

Yes,
Must he not conclude, either that there is no God, or that, if there be a God, you do not believe in his existence? Such a conclusion must be natural and necessary, for he would see you eat and drink without thanking God or asking his blessing. He would see you lie down and rise up without prayer; see you plough and sow and attend to your affairs, without any reference to a superintending Providence. In one word, he would see you living practically, to all intents and purposes, without God, an atheist in the world. Does the pursuit of such a course show a desire and purpose not to offend God? And if you are not careful to avoid offending God, how can you love him? If you loved God, could you live as you do?

There is no point in loving God. Also its impossible because you have had no real contact with the being. You love what you percieve to be God. People love the concept. This is pointless. Love people. Loving people is what matters.
