I started the South Beach diet. But I cannot stay away from the carbs. I love Ramen Noodles and I want them. And I miss cookies and potato chips. What can I do to help motivate myself so I can stick to my diet? It isn't easy.

I am the same as you. I just need to have the snacks Im use to eating. I have found some healthier junk food though. Whenever I am doing good and sticking to my diet and working out, at night I treat myself to those 100 calorie snacks you can buy from Keebler or they have treats from the south Beach diet like chocolate chip cookies, crackers, chips and a variety of other things. They actually taste really good.

I know where you're coming from. Every person is different, so what I do may or may not work for you, but it might be worth a try. I do carb cycling. That is, I do the no/low carb thing for a couple of days and then on the third day, I eat carbs again (in moderation). It's a lot easier to stay committed to dieting this way, and I've painlessly lost 12 pounds in the past month. Another reason to carb cycle is to confuse your body, so you don't get in "starvation" mode and start retaining weight. Best of luck to you!

it is not that straightforward. i became inspired by utilising some rather undesirable photographs. Everytime i think of i'm to drained for the gymnasium right this moment or that is too warm out to stroll 5 miles, i seem at those %. and keep in mind. i've got lost 60lbs with the burden loss software and excersize so far. you'll be able to desire to stumble on your own motivation and shop it with you all the time. Remind your self why you'll be able to desire to try this interior the 1st place.
