I studied spanish in school and never learned it. I read books paid for coarses and nothing. My true oppinion is that you need to socialize with those who speak it. I married a man from mexico, and 3 years later i still hadn't learned anything infact he was my spanish teacher. I finally started attending chuch in spanish, and i have been going for 3 years and now i speak farely wellI recomend Jehovah's Witnesses there are many spanish speaking meetings you can attend and they are more than willing to help you learn for free.

Immerse yourself in Spanish society. Read Spanish newspapers, see Hispanic telenovellos and movies, and one of the best ways, get a Hispanic girlfriend. Some of those post coital conversations are very illuminating.........
