Chicken is poultry
Fish is seafood

People who say they don't eat meat usually are talking about beef, pork, chicken and sometimes fish. If they are vegans, they don't eat any of those items. Some "vegetarians" will eat fish.

Chicken is called poultry but it is still meat. Chicken and fish are classified in the same group of white meat. I'm sure we all know what beef is. White meat is really better for you any way because white meat doesn't take too long to digest. Beef is the one group that really put weight on people.

I wouldn't really call either meat, like others have said, beef is meat, chicken is poultry and fish is seafood, but they are all flesh. So, technically yes they are but it really depends on who you ask and what kind of vegetarian they are or if they are vegan.
