When Mother Teresa received the Nobel prize, she was asked, "What can we do to promote world peace?" Her answer was simple: "Go home and love your family."
Try taking her advice.

You know? Very few of us will be able to do as much as mother Theresa... but I tell you that even the little things count. Do what you can and that will be a positive change. Making one little good thing, then another, then another... you will contribute to change this world for sure, and you will help many souls find their way.
Edit: For those who said she did more harm than good... Well, I think that mostly she tried to help people from her heart with her own believes (anyone has the right to believe whatever they want) and that's the main thing, she helped trying to do her best from the heart.

Mother Theresa was a nice lady but you would not know of her if some of her rich sponsors had not decided to use the publicity machine on her.
My father was the first doctor to go on television and say smoking is bad for your health. The cigarette companys had him followed, caused him stress, etc..
Dad would not let others publicise him, as he said he was just doing his job.
But 25yrs after his death his work ,( in anti-smoking and environmental health) is saving trillions of lives. But do you know his name?
Mother Theresa was good but she did over-enjoy the publicity especially as she developed a little old -age dementia.

Spend many hours in front of the Blessed Sacrament in a Catholic Church. That is what she did. Hers were usually in the small hours of the morning though because she was always busy, but, she always reserved time for prayer and her time in front of Jesus in Adoration. Start by going to www.savior.org. This is him. The bread that comes down from Heaven. He is displayed in the Monstrance but it is truly him.
I think several of these people will be surprised when she is called forth to help judge them.

I'm sorry that you want the recognition. Mother Theresa was not looking for it, she did what she did in service of her God. Most great gifts that are given are never heard of because people do them out of the kindness of their hart and do not want to be recognized.

You mean by going to a poor region of Earth and discouraging the use of contraception, leading to even more people suffering poverty? By prioritizing "finding Jesus" over alleviating suffering? By re-using blunted hypodermic needles on different children to save the mega-rich Catholic church a little money?
You can do better than that, I hope.

Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I believe Mother Teresa was called by God to the things she did but that doesn't mean you can't impact your community by helping and volunteering for things.
