We have five children currently, We could have more with a larger home/special needs yard set-up. Are their grants avalable, how can we help more children?

According to the state you live in, there may be "contracts" available for "group care" for runaway and homeless youth, at-risk youth, behaviorally dysfunctionally youth, etc.

You need to learn about licensing and qualifications from your state's Department of Health and Human Services.

Do yourself a favor and take time to read "the real deal" on grants.... there is not such thing as "free money". Besides, professionally, it should not be about the money - but the children and the services they need. Contracting is a more business like arrangement that brings more responsible adults to the table to provide services for these at-risk-kids.

Keep trying... it is worth it. Group homes are greatly needed for foster children who do not fit well into a "family" because they have special needs.
