There's a boy that I see like everyday and we're pretty good friends. It's obvious that he likes me alot and everyone else can tell. He follows me everywhere and is like touchy-feelie, like hands on my shoulders and around my shoulder. I see him around alot and there's no way to really ignore him so I'm nervous he's going to ask me out soon. I would say no but I really don't want to hurt his feelings. I'm nice to hm and everything so I think he might think I like him too. The worst part is that his family can tell too. And they hint at it.

Make occasional comments about how much you value him as a friend; start confiding in him about guys you have a crush on, or other guy problems (fictional or otherwise) that you're having. Tell him how grateful you are to have a guy friend like him to confide in, and how comfortable you feel without that "sexual tension" between the two of you.

ok here is what i can tell you. I have had that happen before. And i could not stand him putting his hand on me it just bug me. what you have to do is just tell him you don't like him and you think he is trying to take your friendship past friends. at first he might get a little mad and or upset but it he is a true friend it will all work out in the end. Me and the guy that was like that toward me are still friends now and it don't past that line. I wish there was a easier way.

take it from me just dont see him as much for a long time if he calls u tell him ur busy and sound angry he might get the message if prb still presist if he tries to talk too u get all pissed and yell and have a fit he might leave u if not fling ur fist and kick it might make him think twice of trying to comfort u if he still dosent get the message tell a friend to give him a note saying times are too hard we need to break up give a fake reason like my daddy on crack or watever just enough to make him know u dont want him around no more my girlfriend did this so i would know.Gd luck

Hunny boys can pick up on things.Bu ti know how u feel.im in the same situation.What u need to do is kinda back off a lil.give him a sign ur not all that into him.wen he touches u alot like how u said he put his arm around ur shoulder and stuff joke aroudn with him and push it off and be like eww cooties but he wil know ur jokin r say sumthin to lighten up the mood but show him u arent al that into him.or start flirting with anothe boy u kinda r into .He will kinda be hurt but im sure boys have did it to u before.and it happens but it wuld hurt him more if he asked u out thinkin u liked him and him gettin shut down.hope this helped ttyl

Strike up a conversation with him beginning with, "It seems like everything thinks that you are interested in me. Are you?" If he says yes, then just be straight with him and tell him that you are flattered that he is interested in you, but you don't feel the same way about him, and that you can still be friends if he would like. I would tell him you are not interested though so he can move on. If you don't tell him and are really nice to him, he may think you like him and that could lead to trouble down the road. Good luck!

Oh wow - I'm not touchy feely but the girl I'm friends with that I like is driving me nuts. Be honest, gentle, and let him know that you won't judge him for liking you but that you're not into him like that.
It's better than leaving him in limbo, no doubt.

my advice - the next time he gets all touchie feelie with you.. before he gets to really say anything, interject and tell him how much you appreciate his friendship & that you see him as a brother or something along those lines. it won't seem rude, but it will make it clear that you don't see him romantically if you say something like "i see you as an older/younger brother". =) hope my suggest helps.!

Well thats a bit of a sticky situation. But be confident, don't be nervous because if he likes you enough he'll understand. Just tell him something like this: "I like you to, but as a friend. I'm not interested. But lets continue our friendship and have it last forever." Something like that. Hope this helped!

Ouch. You'll just have to just tell it like it is to him sometime. You don't want to lead him on any more than he's already been led. Tell him that you think he's a good guy and that you really don't think you guys click like that. Definitely don't go out with him if you don't like him that would just be living a lie.
