I know my boy cat's a nut case on occasion. He is Siamese (if you please) afterall.

Someone mentioned aromatheraphy plug-ins. There is one thing they make for cats now called Comfort Zone. It's a godsend. It's just like a Glade plug-in, but for your cat. It emits kitty feramones and that helps calm and soothe them. My boys (the other cat is an Angora mix) are going to be 6 soon, and they can get wild, but this stuff seems to tame them some. Once you start to use it, though, you have to always use it. Major petstores and 1-800-PetMeds carries this. Good luck!

Have you had her spayed? If she hasn't been maybe it is something that you should think about. You didn't mention how old she is this has a lot to do with it as well.

Cats can be playful (hyper) for quite some time our little female (spayed last August had to she was in a lot of pain) was 1 year in November and there are days that she still likes to go nuts. She and my 7 yr old cat (neutered and 19 lbs)t race up the hall around the living room furniture and back down the hall.

The little one was unapproachable ( I have the scars to prove it) till a few weeks after her surgery now she likes to curl up and gets her motor running.

Good luck with her

Well there can be a difference. If the cat is wild/crazy like mentally or if shes just scared. If it's just happy and playful then enjoy the company, theres not much else you can do. My friends cat is really really hyper and i think it's seriously mental but anyway we tried everything to make it stop bitting and attacking and darting throughout the house........nuthin worked. We just have to live with it. If your cat is scared crazy then give it some room and eventually try to get closer to it. Eventually you guys will gain trust.

Wait until she grows out of it! Some are just more hyper than others. Mine is a handfull. Enjoy the kitten stage cause when it's over, it's over!

Bach scents are the best thing you can get. You get them in the Health Food Store. You can put a couple drops in their water, or in a spray bottle of water to spritz around the room the cat primarily is in. The next best thing is those Airwick plug in aromatherapy things. I have 3 plugged in.

You can hold your cat be is hair on its neck. This is not mean it is just doing what the cats mother does. The mother holds it by it's neck. The vet will tell you to.

Is she spayed, because that will immediatly calm her down.

Also, the older they get the calmer they will be.

There isn't much else you can do besides spay her and wait it out.
