lol, if you used to have an original copy of the OS disk and the product key paper, but you lost the key, you should be able to go to dell.com and go to the chat with a live associate thing or whatever, then ask them right there what it is, and that you lost it. they will probably verify you are an actual owner, and they will give you a code.
on the other hand, if you got it on limewire or something, SHAME SHAME!!! lol

yes it is easy to get - but the product needs activating - so even if you get a serial number it will only be usefull for about 20/30 days
