After the former repub congress quit allowing the VA and American Legion to speak before the house concerning budgets for Vets, Nancy Pelosi said that the now Dem congress would bring the Vets back so they could be heard. Now, what do you all think about that??? Who can say that the Dems don't care about our Vets???? The repubs cut them off, the Dems brought them back.

Politicians on both sides care about vetreans. There is no one side that has amonopoly on that. There are many veterans in Congress, in both parties. A lot of what is reported and said is political posturing. Business as usual.

Hmmm. You do know the reason our troops didn't have all the proper gear was due to Clinton's cutting of funding right?

And that more troops died under Clinton's reign than under W's right? That's even with LESS troops during the Clinton years.

There is NOTHING I"d love more than for them to hear from troops that have had their boots on the ground telling them we need to be there and finish. As long as they don't only choose the troops that don't want to be there (which the news does a great job of that - they don't show the people that want to be there - and want to finish the job - they don'[t show the ones that are MAD cause they can't deploy with their unit....)

Your damn straight they do. Hey shorty, what you say may be true, but please post a link to substantiate your claim. And since Bush started this illegal war, isn't it up to him and the GOP to make sure our soldiers are properly equipped? The fact that you or anybody would blame Clinton is quite laughable.

Do a little research before you run your mouth off on something you apparently know nothing about. Under the Bush administration funding to the VA has increased significantly over the preceeding Clinton years.
