Ok, I've been seeing this girl for about a year and a half and seems like everyother day she's asking me to marry her. She knows i've been through a bad divorce and am very leary of a relationship of any kind. I love being around her but feel that she's pinning her entire future on my marrying her. Girls help me understand why do the girls I start dating always start the wedding march before we start the third date?

If you tell her that you do not want to marry her now and don't know if you will ever trust anyone to marry again, then you can do no more than that. If she still wants to be with you then she is with you knowing all the facts. You can't do much more for her than to tell the truth and every time she talks of marriage you remind her of how you feel.

Wow.... you date some scary chicks! I suppose it is simply you are a reaaly nice guy and the girls want to keep you all for themselves! Look okay the bad divorce occurred you know that but remember the girl you are dating is NOT your ex wife! Could it possibly be that your girlfriend feels validated once she is in a marriage? Could the compromise of a long engagement satisfy you both. She gets a more committed guy and you have the pressure off a little by being 'attached' but not confined in marriage until you are comfortable.

Maybe because you are divorced they see you as a potential for marriage, I would straight out tell them you are not considering it for a long time, or until you are ready.

You are dating the wrong women. You need independent women who may want a man but doesn't NEED a man.
