Beer on tap is probably the cheapest. Most bars have a drink special so be sure to ask. Then rum or vodka (not spiced rum, it costs more).
Bars are not cheap, happy hour usually is the best time to go and then carry on for the rest of the night.
If anything, I'd have a few at home, grab a cab and go there with a head start (way cheaper in the long run).

Beer is usually cheaper if you like beer. Depending on the bar they might have a lot of different kinds and there is bound to be some cheaper ones in there.

Also shots actually get you going faster and are cheaper in the long run, as long as you can control yourself and not overdo it.

You can also try liquor straight up or on the rocks if you can stomach it. You end up spending a lot less like that.

Go @ Happy Hour and ask what drinks are on special. If you like beer, theres usually a beer special. Flirt with the bartender if possible, mention you had a rough day, compliment his/her bartending skills.......maybe you'll get a freebie!!!ENJOY

If you're pretty, you wouldn't be paying for your own drinks. That being said, try a shot of vodka every 20 min for 1 hour.
