I would like to fence off part of my backyard for our 2 small dogs... Its a rectangular area (10ft x 5ft) and I would only need one of the 10 feet sides to be fenced off with a gate because the other three sides are concrete wall. Any ideas how I could do this by myself to save money?

Build it yourself instead of having a contractor do it? Compare prices between lumber yards, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. ???

Yes the easiest and least expensive way is to use std 5 ft steel fenceing from a feed supply store. You can buy the steel posts and drive them into the ground then attach the fencing to it you only need a small roll. You can add a gate by making the last pole wood then installing a wooden gate. The alternative is to buy a 10 x 6 kennel with a gate . Again check the feed stores for the best deals

I put up a fence ..but, it was more complicated than the fence you need...for your dogs...i called all around for the best price, and, home depot has the best prices, and, they will deliver the fencing you need...you probably need about two sections of fencing...less than 100.00 with the poles...good luck
